Dr. Komatsu, a graduate of Iwate Medical School, did her medical residency in the United States, led the Japan launch and Health Practice development for leading global financial and information services company, GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc.) and worked as a Medical Advisor for No.1 beauty & health care brand in Japan, DHC. She founded KK TRAMS in 2015, works with multiple clinics, and serves as an Industrial Doctor for domestic and foreign corporations in Japan, and has a strong personal and professional passion for preventative health.
Director, William Todd Porter
Mr. Porter received a scholarship based on overall excellence and graduated with honors from Duke University with a Bachelors in Economics and an Masters in Business Administration from Stanford Business School. He was an Associate Consultant with leading strategy consulting firm Bain & Company and as the Venture Catalyst for Imagine Media. Mr. Porter helped launch the global innovation platform TEDx as a Founding Ambassador and Co-founder of TEDxTokyo, co-founded IMPACT Foundation Japan with Dr. Kiyoshi Kurokawa, co-founded innovation ecosystem building hub EDGEof with Taizo Son-san and others, is a Founding Director for Venture Cafe Tokyo, a member of the largest global platform for startups, innovation hubs, and innovation ecosystem building, Cambridge Innovation Center and VentureCafe, and is a New Zealand Edmund Hillary Fellow.
